you all know those urban legends about what a fat girl cannot wear. One of those things are stripes. More precisely: horizontal stripes. I think this first-class fashion advice means that horizontal stripes let us look bigger, because it guides the eye in the width. This must mean in reverse that vertical stripes let us look thin. But … who cares? Five pounds more or less doesn't make a difference. I'm fat. And I'm wearing stripes. Horizontal stripes. End of story.
